EverQuest Clerical Spells RANK 1 (lvl 1) ======================================= Courage (Alteration, 10 mana, ? cp, Fast) Increases the hit points of the target by ?. Cure Poison (Alteration, 20 mana, ? cp, Average) Cures the target of any poison. You are informed when you are successful. Divine Aura (Abjuration, 10 mana, ? cp, Fast) You become invulerable to most attacks for 15 sec. You cannot attack or cast spells during this period and you can still be stunned. Flash of Light (Divination, 10 mana, ? cp, Fast) Causes the target of the spell to become blinded. Assumbly this means its less likely to hit you. Lull (Alteration, 10 mana, ? cp, Average) When cast on a monster, that monster is less likely to attack you when you attack its friends nearby. You should see some message such as 'an orc looks less aggressive'. It doesn't work all that well on undead and there is a small chance of the mob actually attacking you when you cast it. A useful spell which is not used effectively by most. Minor Healing (Alteration, 10 mana, ? cp, Fast) Heals the target for 10 hp. Sense Magic (Divination, 5 mana, 130 cp, Fast) Tells you if the item you are holding is magical or not. Spook the Dead (Alteration, 10 mana, ? cp, Average) Instills the fear of the living on the targetted undead creature. This causes the undead to run away, returning in around 15-30 sec. Strike (Evocation, 12 mana, ? cp, Fast) Hits the target for 8pts of damage. Yaulp (Abjuration, 5 mana, ? cp, Very fast) Increases the caster's strength by 10 for 15 seconds. RANK 2 (lvl 5) (10 spells) ======================================= Cure Blindness (Alteration, 20 mana, ? cp, Slow) Cures the target of blindness. You are informed when it is successful. Cure Disease (Alteration, 20 mana, ? cp, Slow) Cures the target of any disease. You are informed when it is successful. Furor (Evocation, 20 mana, ? cp, ?) Hits the target for around 20 pts of damage. Gate (Alteration, 70 mana, ? cp, Very slow) Teleports you to your current bind spot. Holy Armour (Abjuration, 20 mana, ? cp, Fast) Improves the target's AC by 6 points. Light Healing (Alteration, 25 mana, ? cp, Average) Heals the target for 45 hp. Reckless Strength (Alteration, 30 mana, 640 cp, ?) Increases strength of target by +20 which slowly decays over the period of around a minute. Your strength will actually drop below your normal if you don't cancel the spell. Stun (Evocation, 35 mana, 640 cp, ?) Stuns the current target. Summon Drink (Conjuration, 10 mana, 130 cp, Very slow) Summons one globe of water. You cannot sell the globe to stores and it disappears when you log out. You cannot use the globe in place of the water flask when blacksmithing. Ward Undead (Evocation, 30 mana, ? cp, Average) A damage spell effective only against undead creatures. Inflicts anywhere from 3 to (26+Level) pts of damage (usually inflicts the greatest except when you need it the most). RANK 3 (lvl 9) (11 spells) ======================================= Center (Abjuration, 40 mana, ? cp, Slow) Increases the targets armour class by +6 and hitpoints by +51. Endure Fire (Abjuration, 20 mana, 130 cp, ?) Increases the target's resistance to fire by +20. Endure Poison (Abjuration, 20 mana, 5200 cp, ?) Increases the target's resistance to poison. Fear (Alteration, 40 mana, ? cp, Slow) Instills fear in a creature, causing it to run away for a short period. Hammer of Wrath (Conjuration, 50 mana, 5200 cp, Slow) Creates a magical warhammer for you to use for a period. The hammer disappears when you log out and has the same stats as a regular warhammer (expect it is magical). Invigor (Alteration, 20 mana, 5200 cp, ?) Heals the target of ? fatigue points. Root (Alteration, 20 mana, ? cp, Average) The target is prevented from moving but can still attack, cast spells, etc... Sense the Dead (Divination, 10 mana, ? cp, Average) Points you in the direction of the nearest undead creature in the current zone and targets it for you. Soothe (Alteration, 30 mana, 4600 cp, ?) An improved version of the Rank 1 Lull spell which pervents monsters from assisting when you attack their nearby friends. Summon Food (Conjuration, 10 mana, ? cp, Very slow) Summons one piece of black bread. You cannot sell the bread to stores and it disappears when you log out. Word of Pain (Evocation, 47 mana, 5200 cp, ?) Hits all monsters around you for 20? pts of damage. RANK 4 (lvl 14) (11 spells) ======================================= Bind Affinity (Alteration, 100 mana, 6900 cp, Very slow) Sets the targets home point where they respawn after death or with the gate spell. The caster can bind themselves anywhere. To bind others you must be in a group and inside a city zone (anywhere that has a major city in it). Both the caster and the bindee will see a message when the binding is a success. Cancel Magic (Abjuration, 30 mana, 4600 cp, Average) Attempts to cancel any magic on the target. To cancel players they must be in your group. You will see a message when the target is dispelled, but not which effects were dispelled. Several attempts might be required. Endure Cold (Abjuration, 20 mana, 130 cp, ?) Increases the target's resistance to cold by +20. Endure Disease (Abjuration, 20 mana, 5200 cp, ?) Increases the target's resistance to disease. Expluse Undead (Evocation, 60 mana, 8100 cp, Very slow) A more powerful version of the Ward Undead spell which does around (74+Level)pts of damage to the targeted undead creature. Halo of Light (Conjuration, 40 mana, 6900 cp, ?) Unknown at this time. Healing (Alteration, 60 mana, 8100 cp, Slow) Heals the target of around 80 hitpoints. Invisibility to Undead (Divination, 40 mana, 129 cp, Average) The target becomes invisible to the undead. There are some actions that will cancel the effect immediately. I've also noticed that it will randomly disappear at times for no apparent reason. Sense Summoned (Divination, 5 mana, 520 cp, Slow) Points you in the direction of the nearest summoned creature in the current zone and targets it. Smite (Evocation, 70 mana, 8100 cp, Slow) Hits the target for up to (60+Level)pts of damage. Symbol of Transal (Abjuration, 55 mana, 8100 cp, ?) Raises targets maximum number of hitpoints. RANK 5 (lvl 19) (9 spells) ======================================= Calm (Alteration, 50 mana, 11 pp, ?) An improved version of soothe/lull? Daring (Abjuration, 60 mana, 11 pp, Average) Improves the target's hit points by +70 and armour class by +7. Endure Magic (Abjuration, 40 mana, 11 pp, Average) Increases the target's resistance to magic by +20. Extinguish Fatigue (Alteration, 35 mana, 11 pp, ?) Heals the target of fatigue points. Holy Might (Evocation, 60 mana, 11 pp, Slow) Stun's target for a few seconds and damages it for (10+Level)pts. Spirit Armour (Abjuration, 75 mana, 9.2 pp, Slow) Improves the target's armour class by +11. Ward Summoned (Evocation, 30 mana, 645 cp, ?) Damage to summoned type creatures. Word of Shadow (Evocation, 85 mana, 11 pp, ?) All targets around caster are hit for 50-70pts of damage. Yaulp II (Abjuration, 15 mana, 11 pp, Very fast) Improves strength (+20) and armour class (+8) of the castor for around 18 secs. RANK 6 (lvl 24) (8 spells) ======================================= Bravery (Abjuration, 70 mana, 13 pp, Slow) Improved spell in the courage/center/daring line. Increases the targets armour class by 9 and hitpoints by (90+Level). Counteract Poison (Alteration, 50 mana, 13 pp, ?) An improved cure poison spell. Dismiss Undead (Evocation, 90 mana, 13 pp, ?) Hits the targetted undead creature for 140-160pts of damage. Greater Healing (Alteration, 150 mana, 13pp, ?) Heals the target for close to 300hp. Hammer of Striking (Conjuration, 100 mana, 13pp, ?) Summons a warhammer slightly better than the Hammer of Wrath. 6 Dmg, 28 Delay Inspire Fear (Alteration, 80 mana, 13pp, ?) Improved fear spell? Symbol of Ryltan (Abjuration, 111 mana, 13pp, ?) Increases hitpoints of target by around 150. Requires component of a Bloodstone (around 6gp). Wave of Fear (Alteration, 90 mana, 13pp, ?) Area effect fear spell? RANK 7 (lvl 29) (9 spells) ======================================= Abundant Drink (Conjuration, 25 mana, 17pp, Average) Summons 4 globes of water at once. Divine Barrier (Abjuration, 100 mana, 17pp, Fast) An improved version of the Divine Aura spell which makes the caster invulnerable to all attacks for a short period in addition to regenerating some health. Enstill (Alteration, 60 mana, 12pp, Average) An improved version of the handy Root spell which stops a creature when it stands for a longer period with a greater success rate. Expluse Summoned (Evocation, 60 mana, 8pp, ?) Hits the targeted summoned creature for around 90pts of damage. Guard (Abjuration, 80 mana, 17pp, Average) The next spell in the Holy Armour/Spirit Armour line, it improves the armour class of the targeted person by 18 points. Panic the Dead (Alteration, 50 mana, 17pp, Slow) An improved version of the Spook Undead spell which causes the targeted undead creature to flee for a longer period and with a greater chance of success. Revive (Alteration, 300 mana, 17pp, Very Slow) Revives the person whose corpse you have targetted. Person is teleported back to corpse with no experience restored. Word of Spirit (Evocation, 133 mana, 17pp, ?) The next in the Word area effect damage spells which does around ?pts of damage to any nearby creature. Wrath (Evocation, 145 mana, 17pp, Average) An improved version of the Smite line which does around (140+2*lvl)pts of damage to the targetted creature. RANK 8 (lvl 34) (? spells) ======================================= Abundant Food (Conjuration, 25 mana, 20pp, Average) Summons 4 food at a time. Atone (Alteration, 60 mana, 20pp, Slow) An improvement to the calm spell reducing the aggresiveness of the targetted creature with a greater chance of success. Blinding Luminance (Evocation, 50 mana, 20pp, ?) A blind type spell? Expel Undead (Evocation, 130 mana, 20pp, Very Slow) Another direct damage spell for use against the undead. This one hits for 260pts of damage or more. Force (Evocation, 90 mana, 20pp, Average) An improved stun spell which also does around 75pts of damage. Frenzied Strength (Alteration, 90 mana, 20pp, Average) An improved version of the Reckless Strength spell which increases the strength of the target by 40pts which slowly decays over time. Resist Fire (Abjuration, 50 mana, 14pp, Average) Improves the target's resistance to fire by 40. Resist Poison (Abjuration, 50 mana, 20pp, ?) Improves the target's resistance to poison by 40. Superior Healing (Alteration, 250 mana, 20pp, Slow) Heals the target for around 600hps. Symbol of Pinzarn (Abjuration, 200 mana, 20pp, Slow) Improves the hitpoints of the target by about 225pts. Requires the use of a component, Jasper, worth about 1pp. Tremor (Evocation, 200 mana, 14pp, ?) An area effect damage spell that covers a much wider area than the previous spells. Creatures in the range of the spell take ?pts of damage. Valor (Abjuration, 90 mana, 20pp, Slow) An improved version of the bravery spell which increases the hitpoints of the target by 170 and AC by 12. Word of Health (Alteration, 180 mana, 22pp, Slow) Heals every member of the group for ?hps. RANK 9 (lvl 39) (? spells) ======================================= Armor of Faith (Abjuration, 150 mana, 22pp, Slow) Improves the armour class of the target by +17+Lvl?. Complete Healing (Alteration, 400 mana, 22pp, ?) Completely heals the targetted person. Dismiss Summoned (Evocation, 90 mana, 13pp, ?) Hits the targetted summoned creature for around 160pts of damage. Invoke Fear (Alteration, 120 mana, 19pp, ?) Improved fear spell. Nullify Magic (Abjuration, 150 mana, 16pp, ?)
